    gorgeous coastal paths
    exceptional food
    thoughtful room upgrade
    slippery bath
    limited ale selection

The charming village of Manorbier was a delightful backdrop for our stay, especially with the breathtaking coastal paths nearby and the majestic castle that looked stunning even in misty weather. We enjoyed the exceptional food at the local pub, which we visited every night. The manager's thoughtful room upgrade was a lovely surprise that made our time there even better. Exploring nearby attractions like St Johns Church was a highlight of our trip that we would eagerly return for.

Though the cleanliness was commendable, the shared bathroom situation could lead to some awkward moments, particularly if another room were booked. The bath itself was quite slippery, and while I improvised with a towel, a non-slip mat would definitely enhance safety. So, if you're taking a shower, be prepared to navigate that little hazard.

    quaint village
    generous portions
    limited ale selection
    cramped room
    shared bathroom issues

Charming coastal village with fine scenic walks and a cute pub atmosphere. The food, especially the bangers, was good and generously portioned. The limited selection of ales could use improvement, and the room felt a bit cramped during busy times. While the cleanliness was great, the shared bathroom setup was occasionally inconvenient during peak hours.

    friendly staff

    Couples love it!

The staff were nice. We enjoyed the quirky pub atmosphere, with good portions of food that hit the spot after a long day hiking along the coastal paths.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but given the experience, it was pretty fair.

    clean bathroom

Just a top selection for an overnight stop in Manorbier with great value for the money. The shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained , appreciated. It's a good idea to bring a non-slip mat for the bath if you plan on showering.

Wonderful stay in a charming coastal village

The food at the pub was really good, and we enjoyed dining there every night. The host's kindness in upgrading our room for free was a good surprise. A non-slip bath mat would certainly improve the bathroom safety during showers.
